Information on the processing of personal data of website users, pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

What data we process
Browsing data. The servers hosting the website automatically record some technical data (for example IP address, date and time of the visit, page requested, browser type). It is used only to keep the website working and secure.
Data you send us. If you contact us through the “Contact us” form or by email, we process the data you provide: name, email address, company, subject and message.
Why we process it
To answer your requests for information about our products and services (legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request and the controller’s legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and for website security (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use your data for marketing without your consent.
Cookies
This website does not use profiling cookies, analytics tools or third-party services that set cookies. Fonts and images are hosted on the website itself, with no connections to external services.
How long we keep it
Request data is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and then for the period required by law. Browsing data is kept only for as long as strictly necessary for security.
Who may receive it
Data is processed by the controller’s authorised staff and by the technical providers that manage the website and email on our behalf, appointed as data processors. Where needed to handle a request, it may be shared with other Matthews International group companies. Any transfer outside the European Union takes place in accordance with Articles 44 et seq. GDPR. Data is not disclosed to the public.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing, data portability, or object to processing (Articles 15–22 GDPR), by writing to servizio.clienti@matw.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
